Founded in 1936, the League is an organisation of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community in which we live. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

As a member of the Bermuda Junior Service League, you will work with an exciting group of diverse women who are committed to developing the potential of our community. Approximately 93% of our members work outside the home and yet find time to help improve our community. The League offers several avenues in which you can volunteer: community service projects such as Hospital Christmas Bags and Shelly Bay Clean-ups; fundraising which includes the selling of our many retail products and an annual project called Coins for a Cause; financial donations where the League donates funds directly into the community through scholarships and financial aid requests.

I hope that as a member you will find the opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills, and make significant volunteer impact. The benefit of membership in the Bermuda Junior Service League is knowing that your time has been well spent and in a meaningful way.
